Informational OnlyMeriGST is an automated mathematical estimator designed for informational, educational, and preliminary planning purposes only. Under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (CGST Act), actual Input Tax Credit (ITC) admissibility depends on vendor invoice upload (GSTR-2B matching), tax payment to the government under Section 16(2), and compliance with blocked credit rules under Section 17(5).
This software does NOT constitute legal, financial, or tax advisory services. Neither the calculations nor the assessment summaries should be treated as a substitute for professional counsel. Always consult a certified Chartered Accountant (CA) or licensed tax consultant before filing monthly GSTR-3B returns or executing commercial invoices.

If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must discontinue your use of MeriGST immediately.
2. Informational & Computational Utility
MeriGST provides an interactive, client-side web application designed to compute Goods and Services Tax (GST) forward additions, reverse tax extractions from gross totals, and Input Tax Credit (ITC) offsets based on standard mathematical formulas.
This tool is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis for preliminary estimations, general reference, and educational simulations. MeriGST is an independent utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), or the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
3. No Professional or Statutory Advice

You must independently verify all tax amounts with a certified Chartered Accountant (CA) or accredited GST Practitioner before generating commercial tax invoices or submitting official GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, or GSTR-9 returns.
